Availability (MA)

This metric measures the impact on the availability of the impacted component resulting from a successfully exploited vulnerability. It refers to the loss of availability of the impacted component itself, such as the operational service of the component (freeze of a smart contract/protocol) or a network service (node, oracle, sequencer, etc).

The Denial of Service (DoS) attack classes are examples of vulnerabilities that have an impact on Availability.
